Since I am a Chinese, I do not sure whether to believe it or not. I do hope that after me, my family and generations will live more peaceful and wise. So I not sure does grave placement affects the following generations. My intention is for them to be good. But if I practice it, will I be against B...

In Asia here a lot of Chinese believe in Feng Shui. They said that the wealth and health of the following generations depended on the grave of the elders. Something like if that grave is situated in the place with good and big mountains and hill, the next generation will be wealthy and so; if you r...

Since many here visit Thailand often.

Although it's true everywhere it's especially applicable in Thailand...you never know what's next...anything, and everything, goes...steering clear of the Downtown Hotel might not be a bad idea... Hmm dodge night spots are best avoided. Actually drunken drivers are quite a hazard too. I worked in T...

Wat Dhammakaya

I am not saying that the Dhammakaya organization is Nazi or Communist in its ideology, but I am saying that such regimentation is an expression of power of an organization over large numbers of human beings. It is a form of muscle flexing. I would add that things at Dhamma Kaya are heavily regiment...

Wat Dhammakaya

Ok, Halemalu, I have a specific question. Will you please describe the meditation technique advocated by this group, and why you believe it is beneficial. Butting in on this point, as I recall they follow the breath to their centre (stomach) rather than just at the nose as I was trained to in our t...

Re: Tech Help Needed

For Christmas, a friend got me the movie LITTLE BUDDHA. I had recently purchased a yoga dvd and someone made an older VCR tape into a dvd format. None of these play on my computer. I don't understand it. I remember getting several dvds from the library and using them on this computer in the past. R...

The TV controller stays out of reach and DVDs are rationed. I can recall before the advent of Sat TV, having...

Hi,

Thanks for the advice, I may go for Mahanaga (great snake) or Brahma Yana (Noble Vehicle) unless I get a better idea

Thanks again everyone.
