Didn't the Buddha teach that is has to be seen directly, not taken as a belief? Beliefs are a cause of suffering and a hindrance to awakening. There is a huge difference between being uncertain about what is beyond one's own direct knowledge and claiming to know what is beyond one's own direct know...
