Re: Ven. Ñāṇamoli’s Manuscript of the Majjhima Nikāya Publis
Yes, it is quite interesting too look into Ven. Nanamoli's original translation. He was really very good translator, and it is quite unfortunate that he didn't live long enough to finish it. The publisher of Path Press Publications is also interested to prepare a typescript of the manuscript because...

I am hearing fire brigades outside. It is still shaking.... another second severe one 5.2. Yes, that was me. Actually it was 9.5. On h...

Re: What does it mean by radiant consciousness?
I think that you misunderstood the Sutta you are quoting: 'If I were to direct equanimity as pure & bright as this toward the dimension of the infinitude of space and to develop the mind along those lines, that would be fabricated. It is the directing of the equanimity, the establishing of it, p...

Re: akaliko -timeless
I will try to be a bit clearer here. Firstly, to avoid any misunderstanding, I do, of course, recognize that there is sense of time, in case if anybody suspected otherwise. Also I understand reasoning of different look into akalika, including that it means that it is visible in this life. For exampl...

Re: akaliko -timeless
I really do not want to go into debate here. You wrote that akalika being translated “timeless” is not practical, I responded to you that it is practical . That is only point I wanted to make. If you still want to retranslate Pali words for the sake of simplicity that is your business and you are th...
