Black holes

This is what the Buddha said about Black Holes:

Darkness Andhakāra Sutta (SN 56:46) “There is, monks, an inter-cosmic [intergalactic?] void, an unrestrained darkness, a pitch-black darkness, where even the light of the sun & moon—so mighty, so powerful—doesn’t reach.”

Kasibharajjavada sutta > Uraga Vagga > Kud :reading: :reading: dhaka Nikaya is another good example of a person being rude to the Buddha.

Re: meditation after illness

Dear all

After the reading the two responses, I thought of rephrasing my query as " If I remember right the Buddha assured that after falling sick one will realise the fruits of meditation."

THANK YOU for your responses.

meditation after illness

I remember reading in a sutta that the Buddha has said that one will realize the results of meditation after falling ill or something similar to that effect. Could someone please help me to locate the source.

Re: Pali and Sinhala?

As mentioned in an earlier post although Sinhala and Pali words may sound alike they can have different meanings. Let me give one example. Vedana in Pali is feeling whereas in Sinhala it is pain.
