slightly different... but this is one of my favorite "nature sound" on youtube. 10 hours! It's great for doing work or meditating or trying to drown out other noise...

In general, I believe 10 in a "buddhist" country and 5 in a non-buddhist country. However, I don't know where the actual rule can be found in the pali canon. This is just from experience of a temporary ordination in the US

you may also want to avoid the week in January when WPN and WPP celebrate Ajahn chah remembrance day(/week). I believe there will be no availability for staying for guests that week.
