Hello there
I have 10 chickens 8 ducks a cat & a dog.
The chickens are in a pen & free range on occasions.
The ducks have lots of room but are also penned in.
We don’t eat the chickens or ducks just use the eggs.
What’s the view on raising animals in this manner?
Be happy

What age do you start accumulating karma?
Hello there At what age do our actions start to effect our future? I see many people having a view on weather you’ll go to hell for killing an insect or not. A 5 year old killing insects out of curiosity is different from an adult killing insects in his vegetable garden. But around what age do we ac...

Re: Candana Bhikkhu's new video 'Goenka Cult' vs The Dhamma
I practice vipassana as taught by Goenka Have done since 2002. It’s completely changed my life around, just finished another 10 day course beginning of December. This post feels a little like a conspiracy theorist post. You have to remember Goenka was just a guardian of the Buddhas teachings like ma...

Re: does killing insects break the precepts?
I’ve practiced permaculture for 20 years, it’s impossible to grow food without killing insects, people who buy vegetables from supermarkets are also invariably having a hand in killing even more insects & animals. So tough one to call.

Re: Is smoking tobacco/ e-ciggarettes a breach of the 5th precept?
I’ve learned through vipassana that as long as you’re aware that your smoking & it doesn’t impede your meditation practice then smoke. Sooner or later you’re bound to give up. Most important thing is equanimity.

But its positive ego and negative ego i feel I'm trapped in, concentration is ok,
morality is good wisdom is fleeting but ego is confusing me.
