Re: The Greatest Gift
So advancemnt in the path should be like a snowball ?
Why i feel stuck after years of (non continues) practice ? why i "fall" soo much if it should become more easier and strong kamma push and instead it seems harder and i feel less motivated ?

Re: How to get very strong motivation to meditate when its really hard ?
The tibetan says "everything rests on the tip of motivation". So you have to have a clear goal in mind that is really worth to you. This is the first step to get motivated, reflect on the motivation, be sincere with yourself (do you really want x or are you just playing with the idea?). W...

Re: How to get very strong motivation to meditate when its really hard ?

Wanted to ask how exactly you do your metta meditation ? how you do it for an hour for example ? ( i ask an hour jus...

Re: How to get very strong motivation to meditate when its really hard ?
and I've switched to the meditation on the drawbacks and the pleasure of renunciation/absence. That is a meditation that seems to me well-connected to the goal! With metta How do you do that meditation de-facto ? do you think for an hour about different stuff ? for example how you do that for an ho...

* What are all the benefits each of them give ?
* How do you practice each of them ?
(wouldn't practicing metta basically include karuna in it ? )
* and anything else anyone would want to add about any of this two
