Hello Everybody

Postby QBall » Tue Feb 28, 2012 8:00 pm

My name is Brian, I am from Pennsylvania and I recently found an interest in Buddhism. It all started by reading some literature and it just all made a lot of sense to me. Of course many question arise which I seek to find answers for. I am currently looking for local places to practice and joined this forum to further educate myself on the practice. I look forward to hearing from all of you and I am eager to find some answers!

Hi Brian and welcome to Dhamma Wheel!

Welcome to Dhamma Wheel QBall!
All the world is on fire, All the world is burning, All the world is ablaze, All the world is quaking. That which does not quake or blaze, That to which worldlings do not resort, Where there is no place for Mara:That is where my mind delights. (SN 5.7)

By degrees, little by little,
from moment to moment,
the wise purify themselves,
as a smith purifies silver.

Welcome!
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.
