Introduce yourself to others at Dhamma Wheel.

Hi all,
I am new here. Have been kind of drifting in and out of dhamma practice for several years now, but I am really trying to get serious about it now - starting to feel that I'm no longer as young as I used to be, that years can go by and feel mispent, etc. I've had some training in vispassana as well as Zen meditation techniques and have decided to try to get back into the swing of vipassana. Looking forward to discussions with you all and wishing you all ease and joy upon the path.

Greetings DC,
Welcome to Dhamma Wheel.
Metta,
Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)

Thanks for signing on.
What is the use of his knowledge

Rather, inquire into his knowledge of
that which is to be practised by us
