Hello!

Post by Lamorna »

Just saying hello from South West England. :coffee:

I am currently having a second attempt at understanding Buddhism. I attended some talks years ago with the New Kadampa Tradition, who have lots of centres in South West England. Unfortunately, I couldn't take the teaching in at the time - may be I wasn't ready or it wasn't the right approach for me.

Just recently I have been reading some books by Joseph Goldstein and trying some of the basic meditation methods discussed and it all starts to make sense in practical way.

I am still discovering the basics of Buddhism and I have found some threads on this forum to be very helpful, so I thought I'd sign up and say hello.
