My name is Flying Cow, and George Bush has ruined my life.
I had a successful business and it went down the tubes because of the Bushism, as I like to call it, depression that this evil man has created. Now all I have is my hat that says "Cheney - Satan 08" and my beaten up Jeep.
I am a citizen of the American Empire that is crumbling. Buddhism has helped me cope a little, but I still need to get another business going again or a good job so I can get back on my feet. My business has crashed, but I still have a little of my sanity.
Your forum looks very fine.

Rain soddens what is kept wrapped up,
But never soddens what is open;
Uncover, then, what is concealed,
Lest it be soddened by the rain.

Considering the thousands of people who have died as result of Bush's war in Iraq, at least you have a life. That is something, at least, for which you can be thankful.

Greetings FlyingCow,
Welcome to Dhamma Wheel!
Metta,
Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)
