e-sangha

Hello

e-sangha is down. When researching as to why I as shocked to find out about the strict curtailing of view points it had.

So I found this site

I'm a 'newbie' from Wales with way too many questions

Peace and thanks

Questions are welcome, and I hope you find Dhamma Wheel of interest and value.

What is the use of his knowledge
pertaining to the number of insects in the whole world?
Rather, inquire into his knowledge of
that which is to be practised by us

Hi Collective
Welcome to Dhamma Wheel!
Please keep in mind that our twin values of friendliness and mutual respect extend to other Buddhist fora. Within our Terms of Service we have expressly requested that members do not bad-mouth other fora. Now that I've got the 'heavy' stuff outa the way, I look forward to your contributions!

Sure, no axe to grind, just saying that I was shocked.

Thanks

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)

Hi all,
I was about to start a new one when i saw the topic of this intro as e-sangha. Actually,it is because I couldnt log into Esangha that prompted me to look for other alternative when i stumbled upon dhamma wheel. What impressed me more is that most of the members i am actually familiar with, so this is just like a family for me too. And furthermore, since i am more Theravada-based, this forum sounds, at my first impression, more resources to cater my needs.
Greetings all once again,
Dhammanucara

Hello Collective, Dhammanucara.
One of the things I enjoy about Dhammawheel is there is an emphasis on spiritual friendship or Kalyāṇa-mittatā. There's a wholesomeness to it, and if one hangs around one can be expected to foster good qualities and reap the corresponding happiness.

It's all good, as they say.

Hope you enjoy your time here and learn a lot :)
