I'm Rob. I'm living in South-Central Pennsylvania, US.
Not a great place, but nice enough where I can get some peace and quiet.
I just recently was at a teaching with Jack Kornfield -- GREAT Teacher! -- and Stanislav Grof. It was one of the famous Insight and Opening retreats at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY. Anyway, his instruction led me to question my practice a lot. I'm currently practicing Tibetan Buddhism -- working on my ngondro. I feel as though I was really getting lost in idealism, and Jack brought me back to the earth. Since the retreat I've been practicing breath-mindfulness, and feel more in contact with what is really going on inside.
I've been questioning my intentions quite a bit, and find myself at a cornerstone of my practicing-life. Should I continue on the path of Vipassana, Tibetan Buddhism, or both.
So, anyway, here I am -- exploring. Seeing what's going on.
Lots of love, folks,
Rob
