Blimey! They let me in ...

Postby Clueless Git » Mon Oct 19, 2009 10:23 am

Hello everyone :)

Must be a security flaw in the software here, or summat, but I used my eSangha name to sign up and I still got let in! :thanks:

M'buddisms not going too well at the moment so I'll not be posting much. I intend to pop in regularly for a browse though in the hope I will be re-inspired.

Is Appichato (sp?) still around, btw, does anyone know?

Greetings Clueless Git,

Nice to see you here.

As for your question, according to the Members function ( memberlist.php ), venerable Appicchato dropped in just over an hour ago.

Metta,
Retro. :)
If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)

Hello Clueless Git, I dont want to pry but could you say what you mean when you say that your Buddhisms not going too well at the moment ?
It might identify where the inspiration is needed. We all need that from time to time.

Welcome Clueless Git!

Happy to see you here ! Can ask you a question?

Do you sometimes spice up your posts with a bit of 'Cockney'?

Nothing negative about it! Just can't tell what Cockney is!!!

Thanks for the warm welcomes every one

I am glad Appicchato is here. I hold him and Huifeng in particularly high esteem.

Yes Anna I do use cockney and Northern affectations in my posts. 'Blimey' being cockney for 'Blind me' which, for some inexplicable reason, is summat cockneys say when they are surprised. That probably explains why the east end of london is the UK's main market for white sticks and guide dogs

Shortly I shall be off up the 'apples and pairs' and into me 'uncle ned'. Unfortunately without the 'trouble & strife' as one of my 'dustbin lids' is having issues with her again so she is at her own 'gaffe' 'till the weekend cometh round again.

Sanghamitta; Thank you for asking what's not going well with m'buddhism right now. Probably I should do a topic on that but I need to get a feel of the waters here first.

Dont worry CG. You might sometime want to rest your dogs and feast your meat pies on a little banter. I will probably come up with a load of old pony but there are actually some clever geezers hereabouts. Now for a mug of rosie. And some time with the daily rag if I can find my specs.

PS As a dustbin I was hatched Thames side. So was my two skin and blisters.
