Blessings of Peace

Postby wrbergman » Wed Oct 28, 2009 3:38 am

Hi Everyone,

My name is Wayne Bergman and I am a Father and Husband. I started my journey out following the Tibetan path. I am new to study and practice and over the last few weeks I have been drawn to seek Dhamma thru Theravada. I live on the upper west coast of the United States. I am looking forward to interacting with you all here.

Take care,

:namaste:

Wayne

Hi Wayne,

I hope that you find this site as useful as I have.

Four types of letting go:

1) Giving; expecting nothing back in return
2) Throwing things away
3) Contentment; wanting to be here, not wanting to be anywhere else
4) "Teflon Mind"; having a mind which doesn't accumulate things

Hi

Rain soddens what is kept wrapped up,
But never soddens what is open;
Uncover, then, what is concealed,
Lest it be soddened by the rain.
