Sawasdee kaap. I'm Thai from Bangkok.

Post by Golf@Bangkok »

Sawasdee kaap thung thung khon( Hello everybody by Thai greeting)
I've known http://www.dhammawheel.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; from one e-pal friend from Greece. He suggested me to register in these site. I think It would be nice to get to know other nations who believe in The Lord Buddha. In fact, I don't know indeed what to write about Buddhism. It is absorbed on my originally Thai blood from the generation to generation. I often go to temple, talk to monk (sometimes),do Thai merit ,listen to Buddha' preaching and so on. Whenever I visit monastery, I feel relief all my tired life. Although I am definitely expert about Buddhism, but I'm pleased to share my experience. Thanks for reading my badly English. I'll try to do it better than these time.

Maybe you can explain to the Dhammawheelers first of all why so many Thais are called "Golf" (pronounced "kop") even though you may have never actually played golf yourself.

Welcome Golf!

:anjali:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
