Sub-forum different rules?

Hi David & Admin,

Could you please explain why for some sub-forums (such as Discovering Theravada, Study Group, ...) anyone can browse and read messages, while some other sub-forums (such as Classical Theravada, Theravadin Meditation, ...) are reserved only for registered users who must log in to read messages?

Thanks. While I can understand there are cases like the "Personal Experience" sub-forum need some form of restriction, I don't see any rationale to impose restriction on sub-forums like Classical Theravada, Theravadin Meditation, Dhammic free-for-all. Perhaps I miss something here?
