Attaching videos

I noticed this thread http://www.dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5138 loading slower than most and I wondered whether the numerous attached YouTube videos are responsible? Can anyone tell me the file size of these attachments?
A few months ago I encouraged contributors to the Photography thread to post simple links instead of files, and that seems to have worked well to reduce the load on both the DW server/s and my slowish broadband connection. Do we need to make the same suggestion forum-wide?
