How to check for new posts or new replies?

Is there an icon that shows which thread has new posts or new replies? Do we need to do any options setting?

Hi elaine -- I'm no Internet maven, but as I get it, the way to find new posts is to go to the "board index" listed above and then click on the new-posts gizmo.

I found the buttons after posting my question. It takes a bit of time to get used to this new forum layout.
