How blessed it is to be poor
Cursed to live in poverty
Simple wants are all, are struggle
Life’s pleasures untouchable dreams
Far-off blue mountains
How blessed it is to be rich
Cursed to live in splendor
Simple wants anticipated; killed in infancy
Novel wants fill the void
Contentment is illusion
Contentment wants no quarter
Satisfaction a final cigarette
Want begets want; purpose masquerading
I ran it to the ground and pinned it down
It got away again
There it is over there
Now ten thousand places at once
Truly infinite, too many so see clearly
Boiled down to generalities
Simplicity rendered all meaningless
Frightening simplicity
Find the absence of want
Take that, it was mine all along
No fulfillment could give it
Nothing is everything
Why Do I Want? How May I Be Content?
A place to discuss casual topics amongst spiritual friends.
