For me, this song is about leaving things behind that, while once cherished, now must be let go of; which our chosen Path certainly requires us to do quite a bit.

i reember well the concert in Sydney where Al di Meola shared the stage with John McLaughlin and Paco Pena. That was nearly 30 years ago.
