Dear Members,
I've heard about this tree since I was young. A few Thai forest monks came back from 'Tudong' through deep jungle (in Lao) with dried fruits shape like girls. They told people that they saw many Naree-Pol trees in the jungle, and the fruits smelled so nice like perfume even when they were dried.

Dear "Sam Vara",
My friend at SariputtaDhamma Group wrote that this news is a hoax ..some people made the fruits look like girl-shaped using patterns just like " the Buddha Pear " :

I saw this Thai news @youtube too...I think many Thai people believe the stories of Naree-Pol trees at Lee-Pee Fall in Lao.
I admit that I believe what Thai forest monks said that they saw these trees while 'tudonged' in the deep jungle of Lao!
I wish we had Lao members to tell us the truth!!!
