Intentional Inexactitudes in Scripture

If anyone can think of good wholesome reasons the Elders may have intentionally left 'mistakes' in the suttas, post them here.

and what do you believe are intentional mistakes?
This offering maybe right, or wrong, but it is one, the other, both, or neither!
