I also spent 6 months in the high Arctic. How high? About 817 km south of the north pole.
But if this neutral feeling that has arisen is conditioned by the body which is impermanent, compounded and dependently arisen, how could such a neutral feeling be permanent? - SN 36.7

I am currently a student in US, but I am from Nepal, the country where lies Lumbini where the Buddha was born, and Kapilavastu where he grew up. But most of the people here have long forgotten the teachings of the Buddha, and the corrupt politicians are in relentless conflict with each other only contributing to make it one of the poorest (economically) countries in the world.
