Just humour us Brits...

We know we are European really but sometimes when we have to admit it we hear 'Jerusalem' playing in our heads and sulk.

You speak for yourself msmedusa. As far as I am concerned I am a Scot. Europe starts at Calais. Or possibly Carlisle. It must be irritating to our French and German neighbours, they must feel like they are herding cats.

To be a Brit hisorialy you have to be born south of the Forth River on the island of Great Briton.
Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

I'm from Europe, although that is somewhat vague. I am from the UK to be precise.
"If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?"

I guess you're Europe - like it or not...

Mike
Not  None of the above. I am English, most Brits according to a recent poll do not consider the UK part of Europe . I therefore havent voted.
