Salutations and birthday wishes, Mirco and Viscid!

Now lets eat cake!
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.

Happy Birthdays!
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.

Happy Birthday Viscid! Happy Birthday Mirco!
He turns his mind away from those phenomena, and having done so, inclines his mind to the property of deathlessness: 'This is peace, this is exquisite — the resolution of all fabrications; the relinquishment of all acquisitions; the ending of craving; dispassion; cessation; Unbinding.'

Happy Birthday. 8-)

Happy Birthday guys!

The heart of the path is SO simple. No need for long explanations. Give up clinging to love and hate, just rest with things as they are. That is all I do in my own practice. Do not try to become anything. Do not make yourself into anything. Do not be a meditator. Do not become enlightened. When you sit, let it be. When you walk, let it be. Grasp at nothing. Resist nothing. Of course, there are dozens of meditation techniques to develop samadhi and many kinds of vipassana. But it all comes back to this - just let it all be. Step over here where it is cool, out of the battle. - Ajahn Chah

Dear Friends in the Dhamma,

thank you very much!

I had a wonderful day with parents and son. I am very happy that they are doing so well and are healthy.

May every moment of being gifted with this advantageous form of existence be valued highly.
May everyone share the merit of the five silas, a calm and clear mind and a heart full of well-wishing.

I get what I give
