A quick message to my DW facebook friends

Post by Modus.Ponens »

Hello

I'm closing my facebook account. I have no time to waste on that crap. It is a giant garbage can for our most precious thing: time. And, as I said previously there, facebook _ at least to me _ is like the farmville of frienship.

I will continue, of course, to hang around dhamma wheel. You can contact me here.

Metta! :)

No worries, MP!
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.

Thank you cooran. :)

This is a wholesome community. The time spent here is mostly well spent so there's no need to eliminate my DW account.

I did the same thing recently, the amount of time I was wasting was becoming an issue for me. Much better, for me, to have let it go.
