Nice to see you here!

Terrible news about e-Sangha, I hope they get back on their feet as soon as possible. Perfect or not, they provide an important service to a lot of people, especially newcomers who need guidance the most.

Agreed. There are new discussions appearing all over the board. I bid welcome to all E-Sangha refugees! I hope they get it fixed soon.

What seems odd to me is that a temp php or index.html page hasn't been set up in the root public directory stating that the forum is temporarily down.

I still get the php/database error whenever I visit.

If control of the domain itself has been compromised that is a whole different set of problems.

Hi folks,

since the ES problem seems to be a *real* one and because today I lost all entries and friends and groups on the Buddhist Community site as well I thought that perhaps this site here can be a place where I can stay in touch with my fellow ES mods and get to know what's going on.

So, a follower of friend Shinran is seeking asylum here among the Theravadins

Hello Andreas,

Pull up a chair and have some tea. Ven. H is here as Paññāsikhara, and cooran is here as me. Others are under their own names. Nice to hear from you.

Hey, its Andreas!
Welcome old friend!
As you said, it will be worthwhile hanging out here until the problems at e-sangha get sorted.
You'll find a lot of your past and present cyber-sangha friends here.
