Precepts are present essentially to reduce craving.
No, they're not. They are an indication of Right Action, part of the path. They have little or nothing to do with 'reducing craving'...
Porn is an easy outlet for that craving (sexual craving). It is like you are able to steal without officially being arrested.
No, 'attachment' to porn is the craving. Porn in and of itself, and looking at it, does not contravene the third precept.
Further actors who indulge in pornography do it for greed or misfortune/forced. Either ways it is unwholesome. By watching Porn you are supporting the Porn industry to grow further.
That is not necessarily a given.
While there is no doubt that the Porn industry can be an unskilful profession for many, many others enjoy such involvement, therefore this is a generalised statement, and as such, inaccurate.
I would remind you that Porn, and sexual craving, have existed for longer than Buddhism has....
Besides which, our following the precepts, is to do with us, not others....
Further as someone posted, utilizing energy for other purposes (like meditation) is much more useful than wasting it on Porn

As I said, it is not the porn that is the problem.
Unwholesome and unskilful excessive attachment and grasping, to the END RESULT of watching porn - is the problem.
