Precepts are present essentially to reduce craving. Porn is an easy outlet for that craving (sexual craving). It is like you are able to steal without officially being arrested.

Further actors who indulge in pornography do it for greed or misfortune/forced. Either ways it is unwholesome. By watching Porn you are supporting the Porn industry to grow further.

Further as someone posted, utilizing energy for other purposes (like meditation) is much more useful than wasting it on Porn.

No, they're not. They are an indication of Right Action, part of the path. They have little or nothing to do with 'reducing craving'...

No, 'attachment' to porn is the craving. Porn in and of itself, and looking at it, does not contravene the third precept.

Further actors who indulge in pornography do it for greed or misfortune/forced. Either ways it is unwholesome. By watching Porn you are supporting the Porn industry to grow further.

That is not necessarily a given.
While there is no doubt that the Porn industry can be an unskilful profession for many, many others enjoy such involvement, therefore this is a generalised statement, and as such, inaccurate.
I would remind you that Porn, and sexual craving, have existed for longer than Buddhism has....
Besides which, our following the precepts, is to do with us, not others....

Further as someone posted, utilizing energy for other purposes (like meditation) is much more useful than wasting it on Porn

That is a matter of debate.
As I said, it is not the porn that is the problem.
Unwholesome and unskilful excessive attachment and grasping, to the END RESULT of watching porn - is the problem.

It is not necessarily contrary to the five precepts but does seem to be contrary to the eight precept observance. According to AN 8.25 a virtuous lay follower is one who has taken refuge and follows the five precepts.

The 8th precept? Lying on a high bed?

I see nothing in AN 8.25, that states that watching porn (or any associated connotation) is wrong.

The Buddha asks that we refrain from Sexual Misconduct.

Watching, enjoying or indulging in Porn, is not covered by that.
it is the unwholesome attachment to sensual pleasure that is unskilful and should be guarded against....

The third and seventh precepts of the eight precept observance. The third of the eight is to refrain from all sexual activity, and the seventh includes refraining from watching shows.

AN 3.70: Uposatha Sutta wrote:As long as they live, the arahants — abandoning uncelibacy — live a celibate life, aloof, refraining from the sexual act that is the villager's way. Today I too, for this day & night — abandoning uncelibacy — live a celibate life, aloof, refraining from the sexual act that is the villager's way. By means of this factor I emulate the arahants, and my Uposatha will be observed.

As long as they live, the arahants abstain from dancing, singing, music, watching shows, wearing garlands, beautifying themselves with perfumes & cosmetics. Today I too, for this day & night, abstain from dancing, singing, music, watching shows, wearing garlands, beautifying myself with perfumes & cosmetics. By means of this factor I emulate the arahants, and my Uposatha will be observed.

The definition given in AN 8.25 of a virtuous lay follower only mentions the five precepts. Watching porn is not necessarily contrary to the five precepts.

Well, of course, it depends on the layperson to what extent they wish to follow the precepts, and how many....
I think it would depend also on what the person interprets and sees as fitting for them...
So, I agree with regard to your fist snippet -

As for your second quotation, I think it makes and confirms my point...

always an education interacting with others, here. It fills me with wonder how much others know and how little i do....

Thank you....
