Hi Ed
Well, it looks a lot more noticable than in the last photo! But I do take my time with growing facial hair.
I'll see if our photographer is available and see if he can take a photo before I leave work today.
At the school where I work, the kids were told about the staff members who are raising money for Movember and I think they can vote for staff members on three categories (probably best, lamest and most unusual - or something like that). Anyway, as I was coming back to my office I was stopped by a group of year-7 kids who said, 'Hey, are you that guy growing a mo?' I thought it was a funny question but we had a good chat anyway.
Anyway, better go and get my 'ugly mug' photographed!
Cheers

Ben

C'mon guys, shake it loose for a good cause. For the next week, I'm matching $10.00 donations until I cry "uncle". :tantrum:

(Anyone else wanna join me in matching $10.00 donations?)

I know there's a lot of folks reading this who are going to spend a lot more than $10.00 this coming week on all kinds of junk to stimulate the senses...how about a bit for prostate research instead?

If you don't want your donation made public here, just PM me when you donate.

Thank you Pink, I'm touched by your generosity.
For the love of you guys and for your support, here's another photo you shouldn't show your mother.
Apologies for the poor quality, its from my inbuilt webcam taken a few minutes ago.

I love it Ben!

I wonder if there is any sort of fertiliser we can apply .... maybe make a mulch out of beaten egg, cream, mashed potatoe, and seaweed???? Or maybe that'll nust make the hair race back into the follicle?
Or, instead, maybe something like this?
Image

Obviously - the poem below is NOT by a poet - but by a Man With A Beard:-
How do I feel about my beard?
The hair on my face
What a wonderful place.
My beard is my strength.
I feel stronger the longer the length.
I forgot what I look like shaven and clean.
My beard is so fly, from space it can be seen.
Don’t touch a hair on my chinny chin chin
My beard is so thick I can’t find my skin.
Facial hair is the sign of wisdom and virility
And I’ll stay loyal to my beard to the best of my ability.
Beards in religions, beards in sports
Beards come in all shapes, sizes, and sorts.
So when people say “Why don’t you shave?”
I say “Didn’t you know a real man’s beard never goes away!”

Good start, Ben. Pretty soon you'll be able to training it like a bonsai tree.

Thank you Chris for that poem.
It reminds me of a colleague with long hair and a long beard.
When I get to know hm a bit better, I think I'll call him 'William Buckley": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Buckley_(convict)
Perhaps an equivalent figure of international renown would be Robinson Caruso.

Thank you Pink!. I can't imagine the absolute dedication something like that would take!
I usually just keep my goatie trimmed to its current length of about 2mm.
