If you have a Wikipedia account

Postby Upasaka Sumana » Fri Feb 05, 2010 11:13 am

If you have a Wikipedia account and use userboxes, I've created one for Theravada users:

For example, here is my userpage with userboxes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Eu.stefan

If you want to include the Theravada userbox, just copy this in your userpage:

{{User:Eu.stefan/Userbox/Theravada}}

And if you want other userboxes too:

Do not think lightly of evil, saying, "It will not come to me." A drop at a time is the water pot filled. Likewise, the fool, gathering it little by little, fills himself with evil.
Do not think lightly of good, saying, "It will not come to me." A drop at a time is the water pot filled. Likewise, the wise man, gathering it little by little, fills himself with good.

Nice work stefan!
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.

Thanks Stefan! I always liked the look of those userboxes (reminds me of some of my bumper stickers, such as the one in my signature line). I went and added a bunch of userboxes to my user and even created a few that apparently did not exist, for example:

If anyone wants to use the one above, copy this to your userpage:

{{User:Theravada1/mahabodhi}}

I am up to 21 userboxes so far: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Theravada1
