Which sutta it is???

Postby seniya » Sun Jul 22, 2012 12:14 pm

I find on the internet a quote says: "Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without" which is attributed to the Buddha, but I can't find which sutta or Pali text it comes from.

Does anyone here know which sutta it is???

Thank you
I'm sorry if my words are not understandable and it is in impolite expression, because my native language is not English....

There’s nothing at all unBuddhist about this quote, or the sentiment it expresses, but as far as I’m aware “Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.” isn’t found in the Buddhist scriptures.

More here.
