I recently stumbled upon Ajahn Amaro's readings of all of Ajahn Chah's talks which have been translated into english and thought some of you might be interested. Ajahn Amaro does a wonderful job of bringing the translations to life and I think I may actually prefer listening to them over reading them. Anyway, they can be found here: http://www.amaravati.org/teachings/audio_compilation/1962
and also on iTunes, just search "Ajahn Chah Amaravati" and look under podcasts.
Thanks for sharing Jackson. I enjoy sitting on my meditation mat, closing my eyes and letting the wisdom of Ajahn Chahs words flow through me. Listening to Amaro voice these words It almost feels as if im sitting in front of and listening to the great meditation master himself.
The heart of the path is SO simple. No need for long explanations. Give up clinging to love and hate, just rest with things as they are. That is all I do in my own practice. Do not try to become anything. Do not make yourself into anything. Do not be a meditator. Do not become enlightened. When you sit, let it be. When you walk, let it be. Grasp at nothing. Resist nothing. Of course, there are dozens of meditation techniques to develop samadhi and many kinds of vipassana. But it all comes back to this - just let it all be. Step over here where it is cool, out of the battle. - Ajahn Chah
