Intentions and Moha, Lobha, Dosa

Post by Tom »

Is it possible for one who has not yet attained stream entry to successfully avoid having any intentions that originate from moha, lobha, dosa and still not attain stream entry at the end of his/her life?

Can ones who will become Sammasambuddhas or Paccekabuddhas do so?

Hi Charles
I could not understand your question.

Moha, lobha, dosa aree fully eliminated by Arahant.
The others will eliminate these in degree. (gradual progress)
Arahant is just the label we use to describe a person who fully uprooted the Moha, Lobha and Dosa.

I hope above will clarify your question.

Please read the following book start from chapter 15

“As the lamp consumes oil, the path realises Nibbana”
