Do we get calmer when we get rid of our compulsions? Are there persons there are calm and persons that are not so calm as they are?

do you feel calmer? when we are calmer we have more patience, we have less fear, less anger, our breathing is slower and our hearts dont beat as fast. this happens when we learn how to relax and not dwell on our troubles and worries. we have less tension and feel more peace.
we shouldnt put ourselves under pressure to achieve too much, day by day steadily improve by living as the Buddha taught and having good morality, doing no bad to others or ourselves.
Aflame with the fire of passion, the fire of aversion, the fire of delusion.
Aflame, with birth, aging & death, with sorrows, lamentations, pains, distresses, & despairs ......

Seeing thus, the disciple of the Noble One grows disenchanted. SN 35.28

You can experience this yourself.

That is correct. We shouldnt put ourselves under to much pressure to trying to achieve much. :) Still confusing, about how It come we have getting calmer but its the thougts and concepts that has been changed and dissapeared I Guess. And that you dont talk so much longer that makes a huge different. :goodpost:

I readed a book by Alberto villoldo (schaman healing) they said that when you isnt so tired anymore the hindrances go away if you dont start to scare people and threat them.
