do you feel calmer? when we are calmer we have more patience, we have less fear, less anger, our breathing is slower and our hearts dont beat as fast. this happens when we learn how to relax and not dwell on our troubles and worries. we have less tension and feel more peace.
we shouldnt put ourselves under pressure to achieve too much, day by day steadily improve by living as the Buddha taught and having good morality, doing no bad to others or ourselves.

Seeing thus, the disciple of the Noble One grows disenchanted. SN 35.28
