HI

Does you know where Ajahn Achalo is based these days? He did a couple of MP3 workshops, one on death and dying and the other on generating mindfulness and living kindness, which were very good.
I hope that on my travel's I may one day be able to catch up with him and express my thanks.

Thanks

Greetings monk key boy,

Welcome :hello:

Just for your info, the OP of this thread, 'jcsuperstar' has passed away some time ago. Probably cooran or someone else can assist you?

Best Regards :anjali:
Bhikkhus, if you develop and make much this one thing,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.
What is it? It is recollecting the Enlightened One.
If this single thing is recollected and made much,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.

I attended a talk by Ajahn Achalo a couple months ago at Baan Aree in Bangkok, he goes there once in a while for their English Dhamma Talks. He told us that he's establishing his own monastery outside of Bangkok, but I'm not sure where. I'm sure if you contact Baan Aree, they can give you his contact information: info@baanaree.net. Best of luck!

Just to keep this updated, Ajahn Achalo's monastery is now established in Phetchabun, Central Thailand. He does not take disciples directly, but only after they have ordained in other monasteries of his tradition (Ajahn Chah/Ajahn Anan)
