Theravāda in the 21st century - modern applications of ancient wisdom
......pesticides are not the only option, btw.
They are pretty dangerous for ourselves.
I am using an organic oilspray which dries out eggs and larvae, in case there are any.
It's just a preventive measure.
It's a simple oil spray with Geraniol, a vegetal substance that doesn't harm animals and human beings, -and smells good.

I guess the root of the question is: what is the relationship between the Buddha's teachings and ecology? Specifically food chains. If you abstain to kill, you facilitate the life of other beings, including the ones that may prey on you (or on other creatures you happen to love). What then?
Or perhaps there is really no problem at all...

Recently, I found out the main source of flee coming into the house is because the flee is growing in the garden of my house. So anyone can tell me how to "chase" them away from my yard's grass?
