Lee Dhammadharo lineage

Postby steinghan » Sat Jul 06, 2013 2:04 pm

In my quest for finding a teacher, I've settled for Ajarn Lee Dhammadharo's "descendants" because his books and meditation techniques seem to be the ones that resonance the best with the workings of my mind. It is probably a bit too late - although not entirely impossible - to find any alive, direct student of Ajahn Lee but a direct student of one of his direct students will do as well.

As for now I only know about Ajahn Thannissaro. Does anyone know of others ?

My primary preference is an english speaking Thai teacher in Thailand (because that's where I've lived the last 9 years) and my secondary preference would be a teacher located in Europe (because I'm a native EU-citizen and it thus would be hassle-free to relocate to there).

you could call Ajahn Thanissaro and ask him
"It's easy for us to connect with what's wrong with us... and not so easy to feel into, or to allow us, to connect with what's right and what's good in us."
