We discuss many teachers from Thailand, Sri Lanka and Burma, but I don't think anyone has posted information about teachers from Bangladesh (I may be wrong). So I thought I should start a thread on one of the most prominent teachers and probably the most revered monk from Bangladesh, Sadhanananda Mahathera.
From some sources (on- and off-line), I've heard that 'Bana-Bhante' (Forest monk) is considered an arahant.
Here is a link to his monastery's website: http://rajbanvihara.org/site/about/history
Unfortunately, as far as I know, all of his work is in Bengali. I request anyone who has met him or has more information about him or his teachings to kindly share it with us.
