Sanskrit and Pali Q&A forum

Postby Sekha » Sat Nov 26, 2011 7:36 am

Apparently, Ven. Yuttadhammo (creator of the DPR) posted this at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Pali/ this week:

Hey everyone; just a note in case anyone here is interested in such things...

We've started a Sanskrit and Pali Q&A forum on Stack Exchange. Please join and
commit to this worthy project:

http://area51.stackexchange.com/proposa ... r-indo-ary\
an-languages

Note that the site is not yet active, so there isn't much to see, but we need
many people to get involved, posting example questions and voting up other
people's example questions.

If you aren't familiar with this sort of site, check out the Philosophy forum
for an idea of what it would look like if it gets approved:

http://philosophy.stackexchange.com/

Anyone who uses these sort of sites knows how useful they are for getting timely
and high-quality answers to all sorts of questions.

May all beings be happy and well.

That looks like a very nice project.

Come, register and vote for the proposed questions. The site is waiting approval and it needs 10 questions with a score of 10 or more to move to the next phase.
