When you have a similar noun declension for any given word how do you distinguish which one is the correct case ending? Most grammar books give you the gender but what to do when working directly from a text? References to grammar rules, books, tips for learning pali in general all welcome..thks

Does anyone know why the narada pali manual doesn't have a key? i.e there are no answers to the excercises?.. It seems to have some weird mixture of some answers some not thing at the end of the text..?Also if someone ould point me in the direction of a primer for the de silva text that would be worth the word anumodana.
