Hi befriend,

I don't know. I have heard that story, but don't remember the reference. Is that only in Mahayana sutras?

No, he is not my teacher, but he was a spiritual-friend (kalyana-mitta). He lived and taught at a center I established in Denver, Colorado.

I know Cynthia too. Tell her I say "hi".
