Pali audio glossary online?

Postby Tex » Thu Feb 26, 2009 9:41 pm

I'm finding a lot of chants and readings in Pali, which are helpful, but what I would ideally like to track down is a dictionary with audio pronunciation of each term. I've found a couple of sites with some words pronounced, but is there anything comprehensive out there?

Thanks in advance.

Might also help with limericks.

Uncover, then, what is concealed,
Lest it be soddened by the rain.

Hi Tex,

I only know of recorded chants... (see below)

However, Pali is actually a lot easier to pronounce than English , since it's phonetic (though there are are variations between Thai, Sri Lankan, Burmese accents). Of course you have to know the rules:

What I think is more difficult is getting into the rhythm of the chants. I suggest practising with some of those. E.g.
