Dhammacakka Sutta in Pali

Hi All,

Does any have a link to an eBook, PDF or hard copy of the complete, unabridged Dhammacakka Sutta in Pali (in Roman script of course)? I am trying to memorize it and it would be a great help to have it solely in the Pali. Thanks in advance. Metta!

When you say unabridged, do you mean a version that has the complete text for each of the heavenly realms mentioned at the end? The wiki link above seems to have them, but I suspect this is from the SLTP (Sri Lanka Tipitaka Project) version of the BJT(Buddha Jayanti edition) which is notorious for its typos. Don't know if they have been corrected on the wiki.

The most recent link above seems to have the text for the heavenly realms elided. Are you planning on chanting this with a group? Some traditions (I think Thai) chants with the text elided. Others chant it completely (I think Sri Lankan).

In terms of lack of typos and having the repetitions, I would recommend

by Bhante Anandajoti. You should note, though that this is the version found in the Vinaya, not in the SN like the links above, therefore it does not have the evam me sutam. If you find his texts helpful, be sure to drop him an e-mail.

This sutta is on page 82. Even though it is not designed well for printing as a booklet, each page is rather bite-sized so might be good for always having a page in your pocket.

Thanks a lot for the link to the sutta by Ven. Anandajoti. It looks like precisely what I was looking for. I have been inspired to memorize this sutta after listening to the recordings of Dhammaruwan chanting as a child. Besides the fact that I find it hauntingly beautiful, the Dhammacakka sutta seems like the best sutta to memorize since it encapsulates the Dhamma-vinaya. Anyway, thanks and I'll be sure to let the venerable know his work is appreciated. Anumodana!
