Theravada in Minneapolis

Postby cddesjar » Sun May 01, 2011 1:41 am

I have some quick questions. I am wondering if anyone practices Theravada in Minneapolis/St. Paul and where they go? I've found a few places of interest and would like to attend but it seems that it is largely for a Burmese community and it's unclear when they do meditation, talks, etc. from their website. Do you guys think I would be welcomed? Also do you think they would do their talks solely in Burmese? Does anyone have any recommendations for me? I've been studying Buddhism for a while and want to become more formal in my learning and learn more about mediation, especially Vispassana.
