When I was very young , my family went to Bang-Saen Beach, Cholburi. Our first stop was Guan-Yin Temple on the hill that look over the sea where we often saw a few big whales jumping above the sea-waves.
My mom so loved beautiful Guan-Yin "Metta Goddess" that stood right by the hill surrounded with cute monkeys.
A monkey snatched my silky red baby-blanket and ran away up on the hill. My mom gave a big bunch of bananas to those monkeys by put them under a big tree.
That day was an important day of Guan-Yin Temple, people came to pray and eat vegetarian soup, as the temple cooks vegetarian soup to share with the prayer. So they invited us to have brunch with them..oh so yummy. I was the youngest kid in there..a Chinese nun liked me enough to sit me on her lap and kissed me, gave me a small jade bracelet, I loved it alot..it made me forget the silk blanket that the monkey snatched away.

NOTE: It is generally accepted among east Asian adherents that Guanyin originated as the Sanskrit Avalokiteśvara (अवलोकितेश्वर). Commonly known in English as the Mercy Goddess or Goddess of Mercy,[3] Guanyin is also revered by Chinese Taoists (sometimes called Daoists) as an Immortal.
In Thai, she is called Kuan Im (Thai: กวนอิม), Phra Mae Kuan Im (Thai: พระแม่กวนอิม), or Chao Mae Kuan Im (Thai: เจ้าแม่กวนอิม).

Our next stop was Guan-Yin Temple at Pattaya Beach where we spent 3 days in a big villa by the beach and became beach people..fun fun fun!!

Guan-Yin
for improving my mail,
, I'm too lazy
to use colours

...Have you ever been to Jomthien Beach/Sattaheep Beach (better than Pattaya)??
being too far from her family in Bkk,
so we moved to Chonburi, I hated it, too busy,
Rayong seems a compromise. I take the kids to Jomthien Beach sometimes. We normally head east 10-29km now, it's clean and quiet. I loved all the Chinese temples in Chonburi though
