Re: Largest Stupa in the World: Kesariya Stupa
How is that the tallest at only 150 feet? Maha Bodhi Temple is a little taller. Ruwanwelisaya in Sri Lanka is 300 feet. And I am sure there are several others around 300 feet or more.

Hi David,
You are right! I'm sorry for diffusing false propaganda, there are so many websites claiming this that I assumed it to be true.
I've corrected the title accordingly.

Re: Kesariya Stupa
No worries; still a great stupa, great find by the archeologists.
Everyone wants to find or have the tallest, biggest. It is the same with nations and cities, wanting the tallest skyscraper.
Some of my favorite stupas are the cula (small) ones.
