I'm thinking about becoming a monk

Discussion of ordination, the Vinaya and monastic life. How and where to ordain? Bhikkhuni ordination etc.

I'm thinking about becoming a monk

It seems like a good idea and the lifestyle has a lot of decipline and respect and it brings peace.
Also, I believe the more commited you are, the closer you are to Buddhahood.

I might join a monastery after I've studied more about Buddhism & become better at meditation.

What are your opinions or thoughts on this?
Are any of you monks yourself?
What is the monk lifestyle like in your view?
Does anyone know any good monasteries that I can join?

Sounds good. Yes, I think all your questions have been covered in other topics in this same same sub forum.
Best wishes.
Then,
saturated with joy,
you will put an end to suffering and stress.
