I have done Yoga a couple times before, in class situations, but right now I am lacking in funds. I thought about getting started again with a dvd, but I am not sure what to select and again price is a concern. I don't want to spend so much money and get a dvd that I can't follow.
So, I thought I would go online. I know there are free video sources for Yoga beginners, but knowing so little I am turing to this knowledgable community to help suggest some sites that would offer reputable beginners Yoga. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am once again grateful for this communities help.

Good for you for getting into Yoga. It will improve your life.
Just start. It doesn't matter where you begin, as long as you begin. Find a good site and follow it.
If you are really involved in a stretch, you won't care about anything else. And you'll feel better afterwards.

AFAIK, there are no free online complete yoga workouts of high quality.
I would recommend buying a DVD.
To choose among many, you can:
- watch a preview on the instructor's website;
- read reviews on Amazon;
- watch fragments of workout on Youtube.
Good instructors give different workouts for different levels of your fitness.
As for me, I practice Stott Pilates for two years, and am very satisfied with it.

I’m far from an expert, but I can personally recommend this DVD set:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yoga-For-Beginn ... _cp_d_h__0I’ve spent most of my time on ‘Yoga for Inflexible People’, but have recently started to dip into the other two. I have many injuries, a chronic pain condition, and had never done yoga before; I’ve had such a good experience with the above, I’ve ordered a more advanced DVD (to motivate me more) and I’m off to my first class today.
I also have a short routine that I do before sitting which I find an excellent way of settling the mind

Wow, thank you all for the recommendations. I am eager to get into a full workout. I have just been doing what I can remember from the classes I took, but I feel I might be doing some of those wrong. This is a great start to developing further!

You can also go to YouTube and enter "Beginner's Yoga" - there are many good videos available.

You can do this by purchasing DVD's or by you-tube web site. When you start it you have to decide a time period like 30 mints or 40 mints daily spend on it. I also do it at home and learn more because if there are any difficult trick i stop it and review again and again till i learned it.
That sounds like what I would wish to do. I want to take my time and not feel pressured by the progress of the rest of the class.

There are plenty of yoga videos in the following website, on individual postures or classes. I quite like it so would recommend (and it's free!) :
http://www.doyogawithme.com/However, I would also recommend that you read about the postures - techniques, precautions, etc. - to protect your body as you practice at home. The yoga journal's website has a lot of articles in the section "poses" which i find very informative and useful.
